Jamey Delaplane
Jamey is a seasoned corporate affairs executive, strategic counselor, and board member with an inter-disciplinary, global perspective. He deploys expertise in public policy, corporate communications, reputation management, and legal/regulatory matters to guide companies and boards on strategy development and execution in high-stakes policy, communications, and legal engagements. An out gay professional, Jamey recently retired after holding several senior enterprise and business roles at Vanguard — the world’s second largest asset manager — including Chief Communications Officer, Deputy General Counsel, and Head of the Washington Government Affairs office. Previously, Jamey was a partner at a boutique law and lobby firm in Washington, DC, a trade association executive, a congressional staffer for U.S. Representative Earl Pomeroy (D-North Dakota), and a practicing attorney.
Jamey, his husband Mark, and their dogs Bodie and Willow are based in Philadelphia, PA, but spend significant time in Frisco, Colorado skiing in the winters and hiking in the summers. Jamey and Mark have two college-age daughters who are both studying marine biology.
